BBQ Chicken & Bacon Calzone

What is there to dislike about calzones? Nothing! You can stuff them full of anything you want! Meat, cheese, veggies, sauces, all of it.

While I love a good spinach and cheese calzone, I decided to make a more "manly" calzone for the hubby. Here is my recipe:

1 package of pizza dough
2 small chicken breasts, cooked and diced
6 slices of bacon, cooked and diced
1 cup of BBQ sauce
1 cup of cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a baking sheet lay out the pizza dough and cut in half (for 2 calzones, but you can always cut up more for smaller).

Pour 1/2 a cup of bbq sauce onto each of the halves of dough, concentrate the sauce onto one side of dough.

Next lay out the chicken, bacon and cheese on top of the sauce and fold the pizza dough over to make an envelope of food. Press the sides closed as much as you can.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until dough is golden. Let it cool for 5 minutes before cutting into it.
